Seymour Synchro Club - Synchronized Swimming in London

Seymour Synchro Swim School was founded in 1961, by Dawn Zajac, and was the first affiliated Synchronised Swimming Club in Britain. In the early years Dawn and her Seymour Swimmers toured the country giving clinics and lectures, helping to create other clubs wherever interest was shown.

Also, to raise money for the club and members who could not afford the fees and travel expenses, the club organised shows/aquatic pantomimes like Alice in Wonderland and Noah's Ark. Seymour has also swum competitively in many countries including Holland, Germany, Yugoslavia, Canada and USA. On 15 May 1969 Seymour performed before the Queen at Crystal Palace. Her majesty expressed her pleasure and congratulated the swimmers and requested photos for her own collection.
